Getting Started . . . Off and Running

Whenever you start a new project as large as this, there are so many things to do. Since I have a lot of guitar projects I want to get done, I find myself with more action items than I can count.  It’s like getting ready for a trip.  You are looking forward to going and as you get closer to travel day, you realize all of the tasks you must get done before walking out that door.

I started My Little Guitar Shop because I enjoyed watching others on YouTube and I learn something new every day.  I thought that if I record what I am already doing in my shop it would benefit others as well. And then the ideas really started flowing.  I had to tell myself to slow down and pace myself.  Needless to say, this first year is going to be busy and a lot of fun.

As I finish getting the shop ready, my list of projects is growing.  Over the next year, I will be doing maintenance and repairing my own guitars, but I have also taken on some project guitars to work on. These project guitars, once restored, could end up in a giveaway or two during the year.  And as the support for my channel grows I will be adding some updated equipment and offering some really cool “stuff.” Now I am getting ahead of myself. I don’t want to give too much away just quite yet.

You can see at the bottom of my page that I have set up links to some of my favorite social media sites. Check them out, subscribe and follow me on each site.  Soon there will be a lot of content being posted on these sites.

Well, I have to get back to preparing for the first episode. As I said on my about page,

“I hope you will join me on this journey as I get started.  Hopefully, my experiences can contribute to your proficiency in maintaining and repairing your own guitars.”

Take care!
